The word wealth always reminds people of money and the sayings or concepts related to money. For example, “money talks”; “money makes the ghosts turn the mill”; “as birds die for food, so men die for wealth”; “the poor have no friends even though they live in the noisy downtown, while the rich have remote kinsfolk even if they live in the deep mountains”; “poverty chills ambition” “one cent short may put a hero in an awkward situation” etc, etc..
In the 1980' s, all shops were state-owned with marked prices. You couldn't buy what you wanted with even one cent short, so one cent could indeed embarrass a hero. A popular song at that time started “I picked up one cent at the roadside, and I handed it over to the policeman” But now no one cares to pick it up even if it were ten cents.
People's reverence for money is expressed in varied ways. The names of companies or stores are often “Beer of Wealth and Honor”, “Restaurant of Wealth and Rank” “Store of the Aristocrats” “Hotel of Fame and Prestige” etc. . At New Year's time, the god of wealth is worshiped and the picture of the god is covered with signs of money. When a millionaire is walking in the street, people will show their profound respect even though they know very well that they can not get a cent from him. The English film “the Million-Pound Note” makes a most vivid revelation of this situation. With the million pound note in hand, the hero has the privilege to buy on credit, or on loan and is even presented money from others. It's an idealized end of the story that the hero is still loved by his girl friend even after he lost his million-pound note. However, without the million-pound note, they couldn't have known each other. It's very difficult for people to make friends directly with beggars.

There are many popular singers in the world. However, Michael Jackson is my favorite one. He died when he was only fifty years old .I like his songs very much. He is so talented that people call him the king of pop. He could sing good songs and dance wonderfully. What's more, he is a kind-hearted man. He helped many poor children in the world. It is known to all he donated his money to the charity.
I respect and love him very much . In a word, he was not only a famous artist but also a great man in the world.I will learn from him and be a great person like him in the future.

This is an interesting place.
You come here to exchange things, you come here to save money, and you come here to give your waste things a home.
What is it? Not the supermarket, not the dustbin, not the place that is dealing with rubbish of course, but it is a place on our campus.Yes, it is the flea market.
I have already sold my books and bags that I no longer need there, and have bought a lovely bottle there at a good price.
I will show you four benefits by doing this according to my experience, but before that,I have to tell you that you should keep an open mind when going there.
You may not come away with the things that were on your list, but thats the beauty of the hunt: you never know what youll find.
If you didnt find a particular item this week, dont despair ,since youll have chance to find it next time.
Now I will show you the four reasons that may help you to find a new way to deal with your waste things next time.Firstly, save money.
By selling the things you no longer needs, you can cover some of the original cost which can be of great importance to those students who have not got their own income.
And with the similar function and a much lower price, the financial difficulty that troubled many poor students can be solved much more easily.
What’s more, experts estimated that if all textbooks in universities can be used once again, we can save about 100 million Yuan which can help you to travel to moon for one time.Secondly, develop a good habit.
Selling the waste things in a flea market can help the sellers to cultivate a good habit of making full use of their belongings.
Thus you will think twice before buying a new product next time.Thirdly, foster an intelligence to engage in business.
You can learn to communicate with others and promote sale of your products to others at a proper price by doing this.
Your practical ability can also improve a lot.Don’t forget the last one, environmental-friendly.
According to the latest report, if a small-size city reuses the textbooks for one time, they can save 1.5 million in only a semester’s time.Anyway, a flea market is an interesting place to visit if you want to buy something or if you want to buy nothing.
Dont be surprised if you find the very thing you have been looking for or come back home with your hands empty.Hope the fact I have presented to you will help you to make a wise choice next time when dealing with your waste things.
Remember: many a little makes a fickle

Perhaps, long process makes us feel tired, but we should have enough patience, after all we have in society the VAT struggled for so long. Think about the past, we tried many kinds of excruciating humiliation, encountered many times cheating heart ached and embarrassment of discrimination, to break the how many times an injustice and despair of difficulties and setbacks, how many liters of hot tears shed, spent much of her door to the state of mind, how much tired out body self... Some in the past cannot be calculated, but in with wan "fear statutes are the most happy" truth, we pay too much too much, thus forging a strong heart.
"People say heaven is good, the fairy music. Behind the success of tears? The fairy people did, uniting the spares no pains. In practise, fruit to fix it was." With the fruits of their labor for, will always be sweet; To fly on his own life, is always bright.
Someday, we will find the ideal of life, to find a truly belong to our own sky. But before that, please shout loudly in the big time: I want to fly higher.

it is been incredible to hear so many ng the two years prior campaigning, traveling around the country. one of the unique things about this experience, my father was running for president. people would come up to youwherever you were and tell you their stories. with suchtremendous detail, and tell you of their hardest challenges, and share with you things in a way they neither -- never would would never open themselves up to you in the same way theydo during the process of a campaign. now today, being part of this administration. i feel blessed for the candor in which people share their ideas and personal stories. linda and i were together in baltimore just days after the inauguration. we did a roundtable with small business owners, predominantly female, hosted by the national urban league. one of those women who actually i brought her to the white house a few months later is named lisa phillips. she had a small's ness. she told me her storyand i think -- we were all crying. it was so amazing. she started out homeless. she is now engaged. this spring she got her mastersdegree. she has a small but thriving small business and party planning. she is volunteering with homeless youth in baltimore. so this is -- these types of stories forever change you. it is unbelievable to hear the purser variants, the grant, the energy. i know she is going to make an enormous impact not just in her business but her community. we talk about small business, how it is going to grow our economy and benefit american workers, butthe amount of philanthropy being done on the local level by small business is a norm is enormous. i'm sure each of you can share your own stories just about how you are able to give act and you do in such a tremendous way. lisa story was moving to me.
chinese restaurants have played an important role in american history, as a matter of fact. the cuban missile crisis was resolved in a chinese restaurant called yenching palace in washington, d.c., which unfortunately is closed now, and about to be turned into walgreen's. and the house that john wilkes booth planned the assassination of abraham lincoln is actually also now a chinese restaurant called wok 'n roll, on h street in washington.
and if you think about it, a lot of the foods that you think of or we think of or americans think of as chinese food are barely recognizable to chinese, for example: beef with broccoli, egg rolls, general tso's chicken, fortune cookies, chop suey, the take-out boxes.
so, the interesting question is, how do you go from fortune cookies being something that is japanese to being something that is chinese? well, the short answer is, we locked up all the japanese during world war ii, including those that made fortune cookies, so that's the time when the chinese moved in, kind of saw a market opportunity and took over.
general tso's chicken -- which, by the way, in the us naval academy is called admiral tso's chicken. i love this dish. the original name in my book was actually called the long march of general tso, and he has marched very far indeed, because he is sweet, he is fried, and he is chicken -- all things that americans love.
so, you know, i realized when i was there, general tso is kind of a lot like colonel sanders in america, in that he's known for chicken and not war. but in china, this guy's actually known for war and not chicken.
so it's kind of part of the phenomenon i called spontaneous self-organization, right, where, like in ant colonies, where little decisions made by -- on the micro-level actually have a big impact on the macro-level.
and the great innovation of chicken mcnuggets was not nuggetfying them, because that's kind of an easy concept, but the trick behind chicken mcnuggets was, they were able to remove the chicken from the bone in a cost-effective manner, which is why it took so long for other people to copy them.
we can think of chinese restaurants perhaps as linux: sort of an open source thing, right, where ideas from one person can be copied and propagated across the entire system, that there can be specialized versions of chinese food, you know, depending on the region.

Before giving a speech,I want to ask everyone some questions.
many of you can remember the birthday of your parents?
many people can remember the birthday of the idols you love?
Today, many students can remember their own birthdays, their friends’ birthdays, even their idols’ ver, both of them forget their parents’ yone's life is a continuation of the parents of one blood, all of the parents gave us love, let us enjoy the human world of affection and happiness, therefore, we would like to thank the nts’ love is the most unconditional and thus the greatest love in the parents have done much for us since we were born,They give us lots of love and care, but we do not care for them enough.
Last week our music teacher taught us a song, named Indebted Heart. Through it I know that we should live with a thankful heart. At that time, I think of my parents. I think they are the first people I should thank. It’s them who give me life. It’s them who give me home. It’s them who bring me up. It’s them who look after me. It’s them who teach me knowledge and live happily. I should thank my parents giving me so much. Maybe I should think how to pay back the love my parents give me. But now I think the best way to be appreciated of my parents is to study well and then being a useful person to the society when I grow up.
Gratitude is the feeling of being grateful, the art of receiving gracefully, and the act of showing appreciation for every act of kindness, big or small, that others do for itude can take many forms. It can be expressed by a large, dramatic gesture or it can be shown in a small way, like finding a very original and personal way to say thanks for a friend’s gift. Whatever we do to show our gratitude, we should do it in a sincere manner, for it is the feelings in our hearts that matters the story reminds us how important it is to express our gratitude to the ones who have offered us help. We can never be too grateful. The smiles and the thanks we give help us to build a better world, one that we can all live in and enjoy.
I am grateful, God gave me my kind parents, so I can grow in their love.

Now we have used the Oriental arrow to fly GDP and make it rise at the fastest speed on the horizon. In the United Nations, in the OECD, in the Boao Forum and at the financial summit, the world has never been so silent as today to listen to our voice.
Walking proudly in 20xx and looking forward to the future, the Chinese nation will be prosperous and strong, and the Chinese people will be happy and healthy. In the future, China will show its colorful figure in front of the world, stand tall in the world with brilliant achievements, and leave our own story in the long river of history.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, today i am so happy to stand here to give you a speech.Or rather, a real story of mine. Though with time going by,i can still remember what you once told me.You should be a brave girl.Smiling, you looked into my eyes.Year in,year out, nearly most of my memories are fading little by little. But only this simple sentence remained, without being forgotten in my life. Again and again,i can not stop myself from thinking about it.So ordinary, but so impressive,so moving, just like the brightest sunshine,it helps me go through the darkest night.I am such a sensitive girl in your heart. You said,my sorroful facial expression made feel so distersssed. However, there is one thing i never tell you, that is ,i am becoming a big girl gradually with your words and smiles.I never tell you about it,for i believe oneday, you can see the great changes of mine for yourself. That is what i want to do in return. As i know, that will be the best gift for you. I suddenly think of a song named MY HEART WILL GO ON.There is a beautiful sentence going like this. You are safe in my heart.More than once,i was moved to tears by it.I know ,i am also safe in your heart.i have already forgotten when i told you i was going to leave for Australia this summer holiday. You just smiled as usual, gently speaking.Whatever you decide to do,i will be in favor of it,but, just onething, remember, when you fell lonely abroad,do not forget we are here ,praying for you.We are all around you,far across the distance and space between us.i closed my eyes, the flashback started. The memories we had together, once we played games on the palyground,we played jokes on each other, you always wrote a lot of sentences on my articles to encourage me.And the most unforgetable thing, you told me,you believed m i could be a big girl.Sooner or later. At that specific moment,i suddenly understood the meaning of this sentence totally. So on that day,i smiled as you used to,looking at you.The last words i said were, keep walking in sunshine. Yes,keep walking in sunshine.I said to you ,also to myself.I know i am not alone wiht your company, and we can keep walking in sunshine till the last minute of our days. I promise,i will be a big girl. I promise,i will be a brave girl. I promise,i will keep walking in sunshine. That is my speech, thank you!
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,
I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is “I love you, China.”
Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”
I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.
I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at table, he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China. For you are offering us the best education.”When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “How do you feel about your staying there?” “Wonderful” I said. “Then why do you come back?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true the saying is: “There’s no place like home!”
I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!
Thank you for your listening !
Hello everyone!
I don't know if you remember Goethe once said: There is a long time between today and tomorrow; "Learn to do things quickly while you are still in the spirit".
For example, the luxury giant Louis Vuitton, the wonderful ups and downs of his life turning point amazed future generations. Born into a carpenter's family in the countryside, before the age of 14, his most contact was with flying sawdust. His life took a turn when he was 14, and he became a luxury giant.
When Louis Vuitton was 14 years old, two fashionably dressed young men came to the village. They laughed at the villagers for their old-fashioned clothes, "Why does the moon look so dirty in this ghost place"! These words stabbed Louis Vuitton deeply, and he was determined to go to Paris and see what the difference was between the people and the moon. After wandering all the way, Louis Vuitton finally came to Paris, but found that the moon here is not as clean and complete as that of his hometown, and the people's dresses made him an eye-opener. The destitute child lives in extreme hardship in Paris with no family and no reason. Later, he was starved to the door of a high-end luggage store, and the good-hearted owner rescued him. When he woke up, he seized the opportunity and asked the owner to take him in as a clerk. The shop owner rejected him, and after some setbacks, Louis Vuitton finally found his first job in Paris as an ordinary clothes bundler. He cherishes this job very much, asks the masters for advice humbly, studies the practice assiduously, and strives to make every detail perfect. He has always believed that everything learned today will become the seeds of tomorrow, and everything you have learned cannot be viewed from an overly utilitarian perspective. They are neither high nor low, nor worthless. It is safe”, what you sow today will reap what kind of tomorrow.
A year later, Louis Vuitton again came to the luggage store where he had initially starved, and again asked the owner to take him in, but the owner again refused him. In the end, he used his intelligence and ingenuity to make the shopkeeper make an exception to take him as an apprentice.
Apprentice Louis Vuitton is diligent, humble and enthusiastic in the store. Because he has worked as a carpenter, the luggage he makes is stronger; because he has worked as a bundler, the luggage he makes is more scientific and reasonable in space design. Soon, Louis Vuitton became a young master with excellent craftsmanship, and the luggage he introduced has maintained a good and outstanding sales record. Finally, he opened a luggage store on the Champs-élysées, paving the way for the advent of the fashion brand LV (Louis Vuitton).
It can be seen that any success is inseparable from accumulation. Without accumulation, there will be no discovery and innovation, and there will be no creation. In today's increasingly competitive society, we can't just work hard, but also pay attention to scientific thinking.
My speech is over, thank you all!

As a sophomore in college, you were lucky enough to win one million in a lottery recently ,then how will you spend the money. Ladies and gentlemen: It is my pleasure to speak here about the money I earned in my dreams many times. Supposed I had a lot of money, perhaps, earned from the lottery,I would do a lot of things which had appeared in my dreams many times. But,first of all,I would like to buy a house or an apartment of my own, only because the price of housing in China nowadays is going higher and higher. And more and more people begin to realize the importance of owning a house or an apartment. Therefore, the housing market is strongly stimulated by the people who are eager to purchase the houses or apartments in big cities, and even some of them have bought the houses by loan from the bank. What I want to say is that ,even you cannot get married with you girl-friend without a house or an apartment of your own. Perhaps,it is a tragedy for most of the young people, especially the college graduates who have nothing at present. That is why I want to buy a house or an apartment with the money.
